11th September, 5th Annual National Security Middle East 2017 held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The 2-day event focused on improving long-range surveillance and remote monitoring capabilities. The event gathered experts from homeland security, police, customs, border guards, airports and ports, industrial security to enhancing capabilities to deal with the predominant security threats in the Gulf.
His Excellency Khaled Al Mansouri, president of International Association of Emergency Managers in UAE, and His Excellency Abdul Mohsin Ibrahim Younes, CEO of Dubai Roads and Transport Authority were amongst the attendees. Hikvision attended this event as the only gold sponsor.
Mohammed Barakat, the Business Development Manager of Hikvision UAE team gave an insipring speech on "Smart surveillance, Smart choice". He Introduced 5 main technologies: DarkFighterX, H.265+, Deep Learning technology, Smart ITS Solution and Abstract Playback. As to the Abstract Playback function, it is able to condense 24 hours of video into ten minutes or less. It completely subvert the traditional way of video retrieval and provide a convenient method for security staff to review videos quickly. Moreover, many other innovations and high-tech development in Hikvision’s product were shown in the event.
Moreover, Hikvision Portable Video Recorder and Body Worn Camera attracted visitors attention during the exhibit. As the world’s leading supplier of innovative video surveillance products and solutions, Hikvision would take on more social responsibility to ensure the safety of the society.
